PDV despite earlier saying he is looking to rotate players has conservatively only made three changes for the Springbok team that will play against Scotland on Saturday. Zane Kirchner gets his second start on the tour but this time will be playing fullback whilst Ryan Kankowski and Francois Hougaard both get starts for the first time on tour.

Gio Aplon who has enjoyed a great tour so far finds himself moved to the right wing and this means the Bryan Habana retains his place on the left wing despite calls by many fans to have the Western Province speedster rested.

Sharks winger Lwazi Mvovo gets a chance on the bench and one has to believe that he will get some game time and his first cap sometime during the match against the Scots.

When asked why Kankowski has replaced last weeks man of the match Spies, PDV defended his decision by saying "that it was a good time to show Ryan that we trust him and that he is good enough to be there."

With Chiliboy no longer available for selection Adriaan Strauss gets a spot on the bench alongside Ruan Pienaar who has made way for Hougaard who impressed during the time he was on the field against Wales.

"Francois played very well for us in the Trinations and when he came on against Wales he just showed why we trusted him," added Coach de Villiers.

Springboks -15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Frans Steyn, 12 Jean de Villiers, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Morne Steyn, 9 Francois Hougaard, 8 Ryan Kankowski, 7 Juan Smith, 6 Deon Stegmann, 5 Victor Matfield (c), 4 Bakkies Botha, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Bismarck du Plessis, 1 Beast Mtawarira.

Subs: 16 Adriaan Strauss, 17 CJ van der Linde, 18 Flip van der Merwe, 19 Willem Alberts, 20 Ruan Pienaar, 21 Pat Lambie, 22 Lwazi Mvovo.
