23 Crash Test Dummies All Lined Up In a Row....Lions Dismal Again

One has to wonder if Shakespeare was still around penning his poetry together whether he would have had to rethink his crash_testfamous words he gave to Juliet “…What's in a name?  That which we call a Rose...By any other name would smell as sweet…” especially if he was a rugby fan and I have it on good authority that he was.

Oh dear,  Earl Rose, the name conjures up royalty and sweet scented perfume which is apt because he prances around  like a one legged Prince Charles and has failed so dismally in his attempt to be a rugby player. Here on JustRugby, Rose has become an easy target not only by the way he dresses, clad in bullet proof armour from head to toe, but by his complete lack of ability. For pity sake how does he keep his place in the team?

And before anyone cries foul and accuses me of ''Rose Bashing'', let me admit that I do  know that he was not entirely to blame for the Lions defeat, but virtually everytime he managed to get his gloved hands on the ball he hashed it up! The Gloved One was the ‘’almost man’’ the entire match, making a good break and then throwing a shocking pass, or having acres of space to run but opting to kick it out or down the throat of one of the Crusaders players. It was yet another shocking performance from a shocking player who ran around on two badly worn shock absorbers.

No Lions fans, this was a terrible effort! There was even a moment in the game when I thought “hang on a minute the Lions are going to cause an upset here”, true this was just before the start of the game but still, at times they looked good enough to be in the Super 14. But like clockwork  they imploded with 30 minutes left on the clock and their sieve like defense leaked points.

Carlos Spencer who was visibly annoyed with what his team was doing with hard worked for ball was seen throwing his hands up in despair wondering if his million bucks was worth the effort. We predicted that this was an accident waiting to happen and so it was. 22 crash test dummies and one Rose, who by any other name would still be called useless. Final score 46-19. It’s been a long road and it is not getting any easier as the Super 14 hits the halfway mark next week. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

It's senior management. . . The fish goes off at the head first. The players were fine. Not anymore.

Harsh words but unfortunately very true!!!

Dick Muir said at the beginning of the season he will only pick players on performance and not reputation.

HOW THE HELL DOES HE JUSTIFY ROSE'S INCLUSION?????
